ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
Selection of candidates are made on merit basis. The candidates seeking admission for different courses are given more than 15 days’ time. Usually the admissions are made in the last week of june to July 2nd week.

COURSES OF STUDY:
Purva Madhayama (Classes IXand X) :
General Sanskrit Education, Hindi, Nepali and English as per approved curriculum of the University. The Exams are conducted annually by the University.
Uttar Madhyama (XI and XII):
General Sanskrit Education, Hindi, Nepali and English as per approved curriculum of the University. The Exams are conducted annually by the University.

MA in Sanskrit(equivalent to Acharya)Sanskrit Sahitya, Jyotish , Navi Vyakaran, Drashan Under Sikkim State University Semester wise.

Sastri/Degree Courses (Equivalent to B.A, 3 years):
Sanskrit Sahitya, Sanskrit Vyakaran, Hindi, Nepali and English. The Exams are conducted annually by the University as per approved curriculum of the University.

ANNUAL UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION:
The University conducts the Annual Examination for classes IX to the Sastri level in the month of May to June according to the designed curriculum by the University and the Results are tentatively declared in the month of September/October for promotion to the next higher class.

ADMINISTRATION:
The college is under Directorate of Higher Education, HRDD, and Government of Sikkim. At present   is  Head of Office.He is supported by DDO(Drawing and Disbursing Officer), two Accountant, three LDC. One Office Assistent,Two peon, two safai Karmachari,one home-guard.
INFRASTRUCTURE:
The College has altogether 64 Rooms in RCC buildings with sufficient accomodation for both Academic and Administrative blocks.At present one one four room temporary hostel for boys one more hostel is beng planned Altogether, the College has 18 acres registered land in its name under HRDD, Government of Sikkim. The entire compound is well planned with beautiful gardens, a statue of Adhi Kabi Bhanu Bhakta has been installed and lush green scenic beauties facing towards Mount Khanchendzonga, “The guardian deity of Sikkim”. Furthermore, the college has its own play ground .
LIBRARY:
The college has a well equipped library having more than 2500 books, the books per student is 43 nos. However, we need new editions and journal including course books. The books avialable in the library are for Sahitya, Vyakaran, Jyotish, Astrological calculations, Dharmasastra, Dictionary, Nitisastra, Kamsutrum, Grahasanti vidi and Karmakanda, Darshansastra, Nepali, Hindi, English, Vedas, Puranitihas, Charak-Sanhita, Naya and Itihas etc.
